Why we built Voipcom
We started Voipcom in 2018 with a stubborn idea: a local business should be able to get genuinely high-quality phone service from a team that actually lives here. Not a national 800-number. Not a reseller reading from a script. A local company that answers when you call.
That local focus is still the whole point. Two decisions shaped what Voipcom became.
The first was voice. Rather than reselling someone else’s phone service, we stood up our own on the NetSapiens platform — so we run the network, own the call quality, and answer for it ourselves.
The second was AI. When call intelligence arrived, we didn’t bolt on a third-party tool. We built Voipcom AI in-house — the platform that transcribes, scores, and coaches your calls — so the roadmap follows what our clients actually need, not a vendor’s.
Today that same team runs the phones, the IT, the security, and the AI for hundreds of Arizona and Colorado businesses, as one accountable partner. Along the way we’ve handled more than 16,000 support requests — and we still answer the phone ourselves.
